Shelby Forest

Yeah, it's a forest. You've seen one, you've seen them all, right? But you haven't seen this oasis of nature from a bike until you go riding with the Mummies. Winding roads through the most serene landscape in the Mid-South, followed by steaks and beers at the Shelby Forest General Store. Complete with its own rooster.

Graceland

Yeah, everybody knows, but not everyone has been. Elvis's palatial estate on acres in South Memphis is truly something to behold. From the impressive outside wall with graffiti homages to the "King", to the "Tiki Room," every bit of Graceland is a part of rock n' roll history.

Kudzu's Bar and Grill

Bob's Barksdale

For those of you that actually wake up before noon on the weekends, Bob's has the ultimate hangover food. Biscuits and gravy that can't be beat! And it's all on the cheap.

The BBQ Shop

Real, honest, affordable, delicious MEMPHIS BBQ. There's something about the smokey, savory sauce that creates a tingle in your loins. Ribs that fall off the bone and pork sandwiches (pulled or chopped, your choice) with creamy slaw to cure what ails ya'!

Alex's Tavern

Memphis's oldest family owned tavern and the site of 1000s of bad decisions. A true dive without the hipster BS - they have drinks, deal with it. I was told once that when the Mississippi flooded in 2011 Alex's flooded too. Patrons up to their knees in swampy river water stuck it out for that one last PBR. That's dedication, folks.

Young Avenue Deli

Food, booze, bands, and fun. You can't ask for more in a neighborhood bar. Not only do they make a mean cocktail, the pizza is pretty badass too. And they deliver!

Buccaneer Lounge

Yar, drinkers! This is your place. Bands almost every night, great patio, not-at-all-surly staff, chill patrons - if you need a bender, this place is for you. Hell, if you need ANY booze at all, The "Bucc" is a destination.
